 There are many local sites to see and experience as well as a variety of unique restaurants nearby. Just drive down the famous Coast Highway 101  and see our quaint little piece of paradise. You will see art galleries, boutiques, spas, and of course surf shops.

Some of the nearby attractions:

  • Friday Farmers' Market in Old Encinitas
  • April: Encinitas Street Fair celebrating the arrival of Spring.
  • July/August: Sunday concerts at Moonlight Beach.

Public Transportation: Amtrak and Coaster commuter trains run from Oceanside to San Diego. There is a train station in Old Encinitas. (www.amtrak.com or call (800) USA-RAIL).

If you would like to explore Southern California by car, go south to nearby Del Mar Race Track, San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park,or Sea World. Drive north to Legoland , Disneyland, or Knottsberry Farm. Drive inland to Temecula and visit Temecula Wine Country or try your luck at some of the several Casinos in the area. Take in a Tennis competition or play world renowned Golf Courses like Torrey Pines or La Costa.
